What’s In a Name?

First, let’s address the “Coalition”.   We have been getting a lot of questions about what this means in our retail shop. Simple answer:   US + YOU + THEM (OUR VENDORS) = OUR COALITION   Miriam-Webster defines a coalition as: “a body formed by the coalescing of originally distinct elements : combination”, “an alliance of distinct parties, persons, or states for joint action”.   We want to partner with YOU to make awesome things happen.  Being outdoors connects us with our natural environment and connects us with those around us; those participating with us.  What do you love to do?  How can we help you get out and do what you love?  Do you work out at the gym...

Shown Up by an 8-Year-Old

Son:  “Hey Mom, I want to hit the big jumps.” Me: “Ok buddy, sounds good.  Maybe think about, HEY… WAIT!  STOP!!!” This is where said eight-year-old leaves his Mom in the dust. Let’s back up a second. My son and daughter are both amazing little skiers. At 10 and 8, they have skied many areas that the majority of adults would wish for a diaper on, and have been doing so for several years. I Saw the S GN?

Starting a business has been a roller coaster. Literally years in the making, if it could go wrong, we probably experienced it at some point - money, licensing, taxes, brands, location, money...  We finally found our footing and found a space and made applications with several brands we wanted to carry. Working on a limited budget, we had ordered inventory and made our website live, but we still needed signs for the shop. We had an awesome design set for the sign,  but couldn’t decide how to have it made within our budget constraints.
