Capita — Kazu Kokubo Pro Series

Kazu Kokubo Pro

One of the longest-running pro models Capita builds, and it keeps earning the spot. A compact chassis with a powder nose and a light taper in the tail, so it swings quick in the trees but still floats when it gets deep.

Ride the stash in the morning, come back and lay it over on the groomer. That is what this board was shaped to do.

NOSETAILELEVATEDELEVATEDRAISED CAMBER THROUGH INSERTSPOWDER NOSETAPERED TAIL

Camber runs raised through the inserts, which is where the edge hold comes from once the snow gets chopped up. The contact points sit elevated so it lands soft and floats, and the tip and tail keep traditional arcs for smoother, less abrupt transitions than a flat kick shape.

Construction

Topsheet down to base
1
Topsheet
Skinless™ Core Ash Woodgrain

Real treated wood veneer, 220 grams lighter than a standard topsheet, with a tactile finish you notice the first time you pick it up.

2
Laminates
Holysheet™ Tri/Bi + Magic Bean™ Resin

Triaxial above the core, biaxial below. Higher roving count in the same glass weight means more response without more board.

3
Core
Panda Hover Core™

Ultralight core with Bamboo Power Rods™ running through it for power and snap that a light board does not usually have.

4
Additives
4 x 25mm CarbonFlax™ Amplifier

Flax woven with carbon strands. Carbon brings the reactive energy, flax brings the damping, and the two flex together instead of fighting each other.

5
Base
Hyperdrive™ ADV XT + Moonshot Omni-Tune™

A thicker, tougher version of Capita's fastest sintered base, shipped with the Moonshot race structure already ground in at 45 degrees.

Who it's for

Advanced riders who want a directional board that goes fast, turns quick, and does not lose composure when the terrain gets steep or the snow gets weird. Short and maneuverable for what it can handle.
