Inspired by the legacy of the Black Snowboard of Death, yet custom designed for an unmatched ultralight and powerful performing ride, we present the MEGA DEATH—a high-end, high-tech freeride machine unlike anything else.

Fully loaded with construction technology and design philosophy developed at the world’s most advanced manufacturing facility, THE CAPiTA MOTHERSHIP, this featherlight construction comes from a Thermopolymer Starship Core™ and PURE MEGACARBON™ layup.

This show-stopper aligns with the Black Snowboard of Death’s all-mountain freeride design mantra while being propelled by a high-speed MEGADRIVE™ base with a factory direct Moonshot Omni Tune™. CAMBERALPINE V1

The ALPINE V1 Profile design features mid-body camber with a flat tail and a reverse cambered nose. This allows for tons of pop and stability on hard pack while increasing float and landing power, improving the rider’s performance in deep snow. The camber runs longer in the tail—providing extra power for the ascent or for larger riders drawn to a dedicated wide series.

  • Fast MEGADRIVE™ base is composed of UHMW polyethylene modified with high carbon content and special fluoro additives for speedy gliding in a wide range of conditions

  • Moonshot Omni-Tune™, an aftermarket high-performance race-base structure, wicks water from your base at a 45° angle for added speed
  • Death Grip™ sidecut incorporates a reverse sidecut arc in the midsection of the board which provides a point of contact to apply pressure and retain control throughout turns
