Capita Snowboarding

The Navigator

This is Capita's resort powder board, and it does the one job better than anything else in the line. A wide rockered nose that stays on top of the snow, a tapered tail that sinks where you want it to, and a parabolic sidecut that makes deep-day turns feel like nothing.

Storm morning at Park City or Sundance, this is the one you grab off the rack without thinking about it.

Resort V2 Directional + Flat Kick

NOSETAILREVERSEREVERSEPOSITIVE CAMBER PAST INSERTSWIDE ROCKERED NOSETAPERED TAIL

A raised camber platform runs through the inserts, so it still holds an edge at speed once the powder is tracked out. Elevated contact points float and land, and the flat kick arcs snap it from turn to turn faster than a full rocker board would.

Construction

Topsheet down to base
1
Topsheet
Skinless™ Core Ash Woodgrain

Treated wood veneer instead of a printed topsheet — 220 grams lighter than standard, and it looks like what it is.

2
Laminates
Holysheet™ Tri/Bi + Magic Bean™ Resin

Triaxial over the core, biaxial under it. Stronger and more responsive than the glass weight suggests.

3
Core
Hover Core™

Ultralight and strong with real dampening built in, which is what keeps the board calm when the powder runs out mid-run.

4
Additives
2 x 30mm Technora™ Flax Boosters

Technora aramid woven with natural flax. It absorbs shock on the way in and gives the energy back on the way out.

5
Base
Hyperdrive™ Sintered

Capita's fast sintered base, upgraded on this series. It drinks wax and holds speed through the flats, which matters more on a pow board than most people expect.

Powder boards ride shorter than the number suggests thanks to the setback and taper. Call the shop if you are between sizes.

Who it's for

Riders who want a dedicated storm-day board that still gets down the groomer at the end of the run. Surfy, fast, and set up to float without asking you to fight it.
