The right tube for fat and plus rubber.
Standard mountain tubes stretch badly past about 2.5" and get thin where you need them thick. The Maxxis Fat Bike / Plus tube is built at the right circumference from the start, with a 1.0 mm wall that holds up at the low pressures fat and plus tires actually run.

Details
- 1.0 mm wall thickness — fat-bike specific, not a stretched trail tube.
- Removable valve core on Presta — you can run sealant inside the tube.
- 48mm valve stem — long enough for deep fat rims.
- Works at both ends of the pressure range, from 5 psi float to firm hardpack.

Carry one even if you're running tubeless. A fat tire that won't seal in the cold is a long walk out, and a tube is the fix that always works. If you're between the 27.5 and 29 sizing, measure your tire width, not your wheel — a 29 x 3.0 takes the 29 tube, a 27.5 x 3.8 takes the 27.5.
