OneUp Aluminum Wheelset

A no-nonsense alloy wheelset for riders who would rather be riding than truing spokes. OneUp skipped the gimmicks and engineered each wheel for the job it actually does.

Why we stock it: a serviceable, e-bike rated, tubeless-ready wheelset on quality hubs and Sapim spokes at this price is one of the better values on our floor. Wasatch rock gardens are hard on wheels, and these are built to be repaired, not replaced.

Front- and Rear-Specific Rims

Most wheelsets use the same rim at both ends. OneUp does not. The front runs 28 spokes and slightly less material for compliance and steering feel; the rear gets thicker rim walls and 32 spokes for durability where the abuse actually lands. Both rims are asymmetric with 3mm offset spoke drilling for more even tension, plus angled bead walls and bead retention tracks.

Tubeless Out of the Box

Ships assembled with 3M tubeless tape and OneUp Fillmore valves preinstalled. The Fillmore flows substantially more air than a Presta, which makes seating stubborn tires far less of a fight.

Sensible Standards

J-bend spokes, standard bearing sizes, and 6-bolt rotors mean our service department can actually work on these without hunting down proprietary parts.
