Lowest stand height Marker has ever built

Marker rebuilt the Griffon from the chassis up. The X-Brake is integrated into the heel plate rather than bolted underneath, which drops the stand height to 14mm.

Lower means closer to the ski. Edge engagement is faster, the feel underfoot is more direct, and landings feel more planted. If you have ridden a Griffon for years, this is the version that finally changes how it feels.

  • Inter Pivot X Heel — ultra-compact, which frees the ski to flex naturally and lets you hold a tighter turn radius.
  • DIN 4.0 – 13.0 — covers skiers up to roughly 120 kg pushing hard, without living at the top of the range.
Read This Before You Buy

The Griffon X 13 does not accept touring boot soles. Alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (GW A) only.

If any of your boots are ISO 9523 touring soles — including a lot of hybrid freeride boots — you want the Griffon 13 MN instead. Same DIN range, proven platform, takes all three sole types, and offers a 110mm brake.

Bring your boots in or check the sole stamp. We would rather sort this out now than after it is mounted.

Brake Sizing & Mounting
  • Pick a brake equal to or slightly wider than your ski waist.
  • The X line comes in 90, 105 and 120mm — there is no 110. If your waist is 106–110, the Griffon 13 MN in a 110 fits better.
  • Mounting and DIN setting included with a ski and binding purchase. Bring your boots and we will set and test it on the machine.
