Schwalbe Pro One Aero Road Tire

The Pro One Aero is the result of a collaboration between Schwalbe, Scott, Syncros and Swiss engineering firm Radiate, with a single goal: build the fastest possible aerodynamic road tire without giving up riding performance. Schwalbe's developers shaped the tire in the wind tunnel specifically for modern wide rims, and the front and rear tires use different constructions tuned to the different job each wheel does.

The result is a 28mm front tire that beats the aerodynamics of the 25mm Pro One TT, which had been the benchmark. Both tires are tubeless-ready and hookless compatible.

Front — 235g

Optimized for the lowest possible aerodynamic drag and light weight. A specific front-tire contour cuts drag by roughly 20% versus the Pro One TT (measured at 45 km/h, 28mm width). Thinner tread rubber drops weight and rolling resistance. Best used with rims of at least 21mm internal width.

Rear — 270g

Optimized for the lowest rolling resistance with high puncture protection. Slightly thicker tread rubber and the RaceGuard protection belt add durability where the load and wear are highest.
